lyrics
Curses of dissonance
Betraying us by mass distraction
Leading us to believe in the labyrinth
That fuels our estrangement
Side by side with the rise of the sun
Side by side with the ascent of the moon
Temporal divisions in between
Before we arrive at the end of our perception
May we remain forever
Defiant to the end
Reshaping our own personal worlds
Guiding our light to those beyond
Silence now dissipates
With voices rising in unison
Every rebellion empowers me
Compelling me to push on
Day by day, one step at a time
Embrace the change and no longer deny
Nurture the seeds that we have sown
To shape the seasons far beyond our own
May we remain forever
Defiant to the end
Reshaping our own personal worlds
Guiding our light to those beyond
Guitar Solo: Richard
May we remain forever
Defiant to the end
Reshaping our own personal worlds
Guiding our light to those beyond ourselves

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
