lyrics
Descending down through the void
Forced to repeatedly feel
As the cycle of suicide
Withdraws from the urge to sustain
Severed from the notion to exist
I feel it cascading over me
Crushing recognition
That we are all guiding the sands
Dragging us down to decay
Guitar Solo: Alex
Belittled by those who dance in the flames
They who revel in fleeting dreams
Discarding my ascension
We'll meet once again in the aftermath
I feel it cascading over me
Crushing recognition
That our time withers away
As we all stoke the flames
Guitar Solo: Richard

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
